Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Temporary amendments to APC delivery procedure

To protect customers and drivers from the risk of infection, APC are making temporary changes to their signature requirements coming into effect from Saturday 14th March 2020 until further notice.

Deliveries requiring a Signature at a Business premise:

- Drivers will ask you where you would like the parcel to be placed, whilst maintaining a 2-meter distance from you and your staff (wherever possible).

- Drivers will not require a signature

- Drivers will ask for the recipient’s surname which will then be entered by the driver as proof of delivery

Deliveries to Residential addresses

- Driver will place parcel on the doorstep

- Drivers will knock on the door and step back two meters

- Drivers will not require a signature

- Drivers will ask for the recipient’s surname which will then be entered by the driver as proof of delivery

- If no one answers the door, drivers will leave a calling card as usual and return the item to base

Items sent with specific leave safe instructions in the Special Instruction Field:

- Drivers will leave this in a safe place, with a card through the door stating where the parcel has been left

- Drivers will take a photograph showing the parcel and surrounding environment to help identify location

Please note that despatch is subject to stock availability - We will despatch any items that are in stock within your order as soon as possible. If one or more of your items are not in stock, a member of our team will be in contact to advise when the item(s) are expected back in stock, as well as arrange a convenient delivery date.

International Delivery

All sales are subject to our terms and conditions. On receipt of delivery, it is your responsibility to inspect the goods and notify us within 3 days of any faults or defects that are found. When such goods are returned to us, they will be promptly repaired or replaced free of charge (see returns policy).
